1902 Print Kilarney House Earl Kenmare Architecture Mansion Gable Ireland XGNB7 XGIC7 Advertisement in the Madison DailyThis is an original 1902 black and white halftone print of "Kilarney House, Resisdence of the Earl of Kenmare." The Kilarney House replaced the Kenmare House as the seat of the Earls of Kenmare in 1726, with the current mansion being built in 1872. Designed by George Devey and constructed in the Elizabethan Revival style, the home was built on a hillside overlooking Lough Leane. Sadly, the building burnt out in 1879, shortly after its completion and
