mid-century cupped hands brass dish tank top and leather foot bindingsThis mid 20th century brass dish is cast in the form of cupped hands, shaped with soft contouring through the fingers and palm. A grape and leaf motif gathers at the wrist, adding depth and ornament to the form. The surface shows a warm, time developed patina that settles into the recesses and highlights the raised detail, giving the piece a sculptural presence that sits naturally within collected and traditional interiors.
