1893 Chicago World's Fair Gladstone Ax Exhibit Forestry Building HISTORIC FAR1 HIST This is an original 1921England's Grand Old Ax. This is an original 1894 halftone print showing an English ax. This exhibit was in the center of the Forestry Building. The ax contained in the glass case had been the property of England's patriarchal statesman, William E. Gladstone.
