It is also known as Tamba tachikui pottery, which is a general term for pottery that made in the area of Imada district, Sasayama city, Hyogo, Japan. The Tamba klin is known as one of the six ancient kilns of Japan and has been in use since the Heian period (7941185). Two generations of family make Tamba pottery. The clay is collected and refined by using Yotsuji clay from Sanda, Hyogo and
