Pollinators appreciate it as a late season nectar source. This perennial blooms from late summer to mid fall. The blooms grow 2 3" wide and the plant grows up to 18 24" tall and 24 48" wide. It does best in a sunny border or in containers in well draining soil. Take note that it is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
