Yimantuwiyai, the cultural hero, was said to have hidden behind the stone as he observed young girls planting bulbs in the ridge south of him. The depression seen in the boulder is from his hand, and the crack, from his genitals. The young girls then bore children, after Yimantuwiyai impregnated them.
