"Torero" means bullfighter in Spanish. Juan Gris was born in Madrid, Spain in 1887 as Jos Victoriano Carmelo Carlos Gonzles Prez. He studied mechanica design in Madrid, but later moved to Paris, France, in order to become a painter and sculptor. Juan Gris became friends with other artists like Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Georges Braque. He is
