Napoleon's infamous invasion of the Russian Empire involved soldiers from Italy, Naples, Baden, Bavaria, Saxony, Westphalia, Spain, the Swiss Confederation and other smaller nations. While Austrian and Prussian troops also manned the ranks of the Grande Arme, almost all still remained loyal to their respective monarch. Napoleon's
