Sarah, Abraham's wife, was so upset after Ishmael was found mocking Isaac, that she sent Hagar and her son away. They wandered around the wilderness of Beersheba until they settled in the Desert of Paran. We are assuming that the artist of this image is W. Hamilton, and the engraver was T. Kelley.
