The spiral begins with a pointed gold wire approximately 1mm in diameter. This wire is inserted through the earlobe and pushed through until it reaches the desired position. The wire then forms a ring, or spiral, which in the center becomes a Tree of Life design. The tree is stamped out and approximately 25mm wide. The entire gold tone earring has a diameter
