Offringa, Huizum, 1797 van de meulen The loderein box has a18th century Frisian silver purse by the silversmith Ate Jochums Offringa from Huizum, active from 1779. The silver bracket features all four evangelists: Matthew (with angel figure), Mark (with lion), Luke (with ox) and John (with eagle). The bracket is hallmarked with a master's mark bird (Foot C28) which was used by Ate Offringa. The velvet bag appears original but is still in good condition. Inside, there are two fabric pockets.
