This property was particularly useful for individuals working in environments with strong magnetic fields, such as scientists and engineers, making it (and perhaps still making it) a very niche, purpose built watch! Introduced in the sixties, the 1019 is the successor to the exceedingly rare 6541 and 6543 Milgauss references. The 38mm steel
