Milcendeau. La fabrique d'un artiste. 1891-1914. Occident creating a dimension parallel toCharles Milcendeau (1872 1919) is one of the great draftsmen of the late 19th century. Trained at the cole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, he rubbed shoulders in the studio of Gustave Moreau with Georges Rouault, Henri Matisse and Albert Marquet, with whom he would become friends. Recognized by the art critics of his time and exhibited in the most prestigious museums in France and abroad, Charles Milcendeau astonished and became known for the
