Proche et Moyen Orient some 89 “new” fragments haveWe know much about Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris's Gothic architecture and the work of Viollet le Duc, but much less about the paintings that have adorned it over the centuries. This book explains the stages in the creation of this decor, from the "grands mays" collection inaugurated in 1630 to the 19th and 20th centuries. Through the history of each of the painted works present in the building on the eve of the 2019 fire and their restoration in 2022
